Dr. Kimberley Klassen

Dr. Kimberley Klassen is a general dentist and graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992. She practiced in Red Deer for several years before moving to Calgary in 1999. One of the things she loves most about her job is seeing her patient’s excitement when they look in the mirror after their treatment is complete. Dr. Kim, as most people call her, enjoys hearing parents say how much their children like coming to the office. She feels that continuing education is vital in keeping up with the latest in dentistry. That's how she is able to constantly improve her practice by implementing new ideas and technology. Dr. Kim loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and wants to make a difference, not only in their oral health, but also in their overall health and well-being.

Dr. Kim grew up in Saskatoon and has always been very active. She loves most sports and has been involved in basketball, track, volleyball, fastball and slo-pitch. She also enjoys working out, downhill skiing and golf. Dr. Kim is a big Flames fan, which is evident in her office. She likes the Stamps too but her heart is still with the Riders. She volunteers at Inn from the Cold through her church. She is also involved with Home Away from Home through the University of Calgary.  This is a program that pairs foreign students with Canadian families for fun and friendship.  Dr. Kim and her husband, Neil, love to travel and experience new places and cultures.  Some day she would love to combine her love of dentistry with her travel bug and volunteer overseas.

Heather

Heather is a recent transplant to Calgary from Ottawa, Ontario.  She has been working in the dental field for over 7 years.  Part of that time included 2 years spent in a dedicated Orthodontic office with an emphasis on Invisalign® treatment.  She is a walking advertisement of the exciting transformation orthodontics can make toward a healthy smile.  Her favourite part of working in the dental field is building relationships with many of her patients.

Heather’s love of people has extended through numerous volunteer efforts in the community and through her church.  She and her family enjoy travelling particularly during the cold winter months.  If the palm trees aren’t calling, then high school and college football take up the remainder!  Her wonderful husband of 27 years, incredible “children/young adults”, as well as their beautiful golden/yellow lab mix help to make life’s journey that much more special!

Colleen

Colleen has called Calgary home for over 30 years.  Colleen has worked as a Dental Assistant for 17 years.  She enjoys working with the public and meeting new people.   She wanted to stay working in the dental field, but felt she needed a change of pace, so she made the switch from assisting to reception.  Colleen has recently joined Dr. Kim and her team and enjoys the positive and friendly environment.  For fun she enjoys spending time camping and hiking with her family.  She has two nephews and three nieces that she loves to spend time with.
