Dr. Kimberley Klassen

Dr. Kimberley Klassen is a general dentist and graduated with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992. She practiced in Red Deer for several years before moving to Calgary in 1999. What she loves most about her job is seeing her patient’s excitement when they look in the mirror after their treatment is complete or the satisfaction patients have when they really improve their oral health. Dr. Kim enjoys hearing parents say how much their children like coming to the office. She feels that continuing education is vital in keeping up with the latest in dentistry. She wants to be able to constantly improve her practice by implementing new ideas and technology. Being committed to lifelong learning is so important in this endeavor.  Dr. Kim loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and wants to make a difference, not only in their oral health, but also in their overall health and well-being.  She understands how important it is to listen to each individual to help them achieve their goals.

Dr. Kim grew up in Saskatoon and has always been very active. She loves most sports and has been involved in basketball, track, volleyball, fastball and slo-pitch. She also enjoys working out, downhill skiing, hiking and golf. Dr. Kim is a big Flames fan, which is evident in her office. She likes the Stamps too but her heart is still with the Riders. Throughout the years, she has volunteered with Inn from the Cold, the Calgary Stampede and has done some tutoring. She is also involved with Home Away from Home through the University of Calgary.  This is a program that pairs foreign students with Canadian families for fun and friendship.  She now has new friends from Germany, Korea and Iran.  Dr. Kim and her husband, Neil, love to travel and experience new places and cultures. Some day she hopes to combine her passion for dentistry with her travel bug and volunteer overseas.

Assisting Team

What an honour it is to be celebrating 10 years with Dr. Klassen at All Smiles Dental Care. I have been a dental assistant for 31 years and I am as passionate today as I was when I graduated top of my class at Pima Community College in Tucson, Arizona. I have been married to my best friend, Paul, for 37 years. I love to travel and have been to Italy, Germany, New Zealand, Egypt, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Hawaii and various places in the USA. I have done 3 cycling holidays to Austria, Spain and Croatia. Feel free to ask me any questions about my adventures.

I have two amazing children, Andrew and Emma, who complete my life and make me a better person.

If there is anything I can do to ease your comfort with dental procedures such as provide you with a blanket or pillow or hold your hand, just let me know. I’ve got your back. I’m here to make you as comfortable as I can.

I was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan where I graduated with distinction from the dental assisting program at SIAST Wascana Campus in 2014.  The one thing I enjoy most about being a dental assistant so far is the opportunity to connect with all my patients and hear about their life experiences.

I recently moved to Calgary looking for a change and a new adventure in life.  I enjoy spending my free time outdoors doing activities such as hiking, kayaking and biking.  My fascination for the mountains drew me to Calgary after growing up in such a flat place like the Saskatchewan prairies.  When the seasons change and the weather cools, you can find me in a hockey rink or bundled up at the outdoor rink as I grew up playing Canada’s sport, hockey.  Now that I live in Calgary and work with Dr. Kim, I may just have to start cheering for the Calgary Flames!

She finds dental hygiene to be a very satisfying career and really enjoys furthering her dental education. Getting to know her patients on a personal level is one of her favourite parts about working as a hygienist. Brenna's interests include spending time with friends and family, travelling, shopping, and relaxing at the spa.

I am originally from a farm outside of the small village of Milo, Alberta and graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta in Dental Hygiene. My previous years as a dental assistant have helped to elevate my knowledge of the dental world and gives me over 13 years in the dental field. I plan to continually update my knowledge and stay on top of the changes in the dental industry. I enjoy educating my patients on oral health, and getting to know them and connect with them on a personal level.  Those are two of the biggest reasons I chose dental hygiene as a career. I love to travel and my dream is to hit every continent one day, including Antarctica! In my spare time I love to paint, draw, hike, camp, and spend time with my friends and family.

Business Team

Heather has been working with Dr. Kim and the All Smiles Dental Care Team for over 5 years now. She has been working in the dental field since 2007. Part of her experience was spent in an orthodontic office in Ottawa. Heather’s own Invisalign treatment helped her to be able to appreciate the benefits of properly aligned teeth both functionally and aesthetically. For Heather, the best part of working with Dr. Kim and the team is the kindness and fun that Dr. Kim inspires. It’s great to know that we are all part of a team that helps our patients create and maintain a healthy smile.

Heather has been married for over 32 years to a wonderful husband and friend. Family is everything to Heather. She is very proud of their 3 children and especially excited to be the Gramma of 3 beautiful grand babies! She loves her College Football (We are Penn State!) and travelling to warm, sunny destinations.
